Summary
Simpliers CHAT detects the comments, story replies, and direct messages coming to your Instagram account and builds automatic replies within the rules you set.
- Use case: nonstop communication around the clock, lead capture (lead generation), and zeroing out manual workload.
- Audience: influencers (campaign/link distribution), brands (product sales, customer support), agencies (multi-account management).
- No code required: Instagram automation (Flow) is built entirely through a visual interface.
- Account requirement: the system only works on Business or Creator accounts.
Core features of Simpliers CHAT
Unlike standard message management, Simpliers CHAT offers features that make the process smarter and more efficient:
- Comment to DMIt detects keywords like info, price, or link written under a post or Reels and instantly sends the user a personalized DM with the relevant details.
- Instant translation supportIt automatically translates incoming and outgoing messages. For accounts addressing global audiences, it provides uninterrupted, language-free communication.
- Advanced Flow (Automation) systemIt lets you build multi-step message scenarios based on user intent (question, complaint, suggestion, request).
- Multi-account managementIt offers the ability to manage multiple Instagram accounts from a single screen for free. It is ideal especially for agencies.
- Data collectionIt offers the ability to automatically collect users' email, contact details, or request specifics and export them.
How it works behind the scenes
Simpliers CHAT runs operations over Meta's official API infrastructure. An automation's workflow consists of these technical steps:
- 1The interaction happensThe user interacts with your account. This can be a Reels comment, a story reply, or a direct message.
- 2Meta sends a notification (webhook layer)When Meta detects the interaction, it delivers an encrypted data packet (webhook) to Simpliers CHAT servers. Instead of constantly polling for new data, the system receives it from Meta only when an action occurs.
- 3Simpliers CHAT accessing and processing the dataThe security and accuracy of the incoming data packet are verified. The text the user wrote is matched against the keywords and rules you set on the platform. Once verified, the relevant Flow (Automation) starts.
- 4The message is preparedThe message to be sent is combined with variables such as the user's name, special discount code, product link, or PDF file. If active, instant translation is applied and the ready data packet is sent back to the Meta API.
- 5The message is sentMeta delivers the prepared reply directly to the follower's DM inbox.
What is Meta's webhook layer?
The webhook is a messenger shuttling between Instagram and your automation tool. It is a fully event-driven technology that does not force the system to keep polling.
The three core properties that make it powerful are:
- Instant notification deliveryMeta sends the data the moment the event happens. There is no waiting or constant checking. That is the secret to the speed.
- Secure data packetEvery notification is signed with your application's secret key. Automation tools do not act without verifying this signature. This prevents fake requests.
- Retry mechanismEven if your automation tool goes briefly offline, Meta does not stop sending the notification and retries at set intervals. The DM is eventually delivered, only a few seconds late.
Simpliers CHAT setup steps
Moving from scratch to a live automation system without any coding knowledge is quite simple:
- Sign up for Simpliers CHAT and click the "Log In with Instagram" button.
- Select the Instagram Business or Creator account you want to connect to the automation.
- Approve all requested access permissions in full. (This step is required for the system to read comments and send messages).
- Pick a ready-made Flow that fits your needs or build your own automation flow from scratch.
- Test your Flow and then activate it.
Setting up your first Flow takes about two minutes. Creating the following scenarios takes less than a minute.
Common issues and solutions
It usually traces back to one of these four reasons:
- Account type is not eligibleMeta does not grant automation tools access for personal accounts. To use automation, you need to change your account type from your Instagram profile settings.
- The messaging window ruleMeta only allows you to send a DM as a reply to an interaction the user started. You cannot send a DM to an account that has never interacted with you.
- Permissions granted incompletelyThe system not replying to comments or DMs is mostly caused by permissions granted incompletely during login. Solution: you need to refresh the permissions from inside the automation tool.Learn how to refresh your permissions
- Conflicting keyword useIf you chose the same keyword for two different Flows, only the last one you set up runs. Take care to keep your keywords short, clear, and unique for each Flow.
